Handmade tortillas . Recommend this place Big variety of fresh water. Clean restaurant

Tried for the first time tonight I had the lengua burrito & tripa taco Everything was delicious lengua was cooked perfectly not mushy at all. The tripas were cooked nice & crispy I'll be back

Been here several times and enjoyed each visit. Meats have tons of flavor and perfect for your choice of tacos, burritos, tortas, etc...name it they make it.

I would honestly rate this place 3.5/5 stars but since Yelp doesn't have that option I just rounded them up. The tacos are decent. They have various meat options where some are more dry than others. The al pastor meat was quite dry. The most moist was the birria but it lacked salt and seasoning. Still okay tasting but I don't think I would get it again. The best were the asada tacos. I like that this place is self serve when it comes to the toppings and salsas. The agua frescas are really good and refreshing. They're more on the sweeter side though so if you don't like that you will need to ask for a cup of water on the side. My main 2 issues with this place is that it's quite expensive for the portions you get. I remember back in the day when I would go to the Moreno Valley location they were close to $2 per taco but now each taco costs $2.89. They're $3.09 each for special requests such as lengua or fish. I think that's wayyyy overpriced for a small taco that you can literally finish in 3 bites. I don't know if I came on a bad day but the salsas and imitation guac were quite sour and had way too much lemon in them. I think adding new salsa varieties would really help and be an improvement. Overall, I would come again just for the asada tacos if I am in the area. They're still decent tacos but it's not a place I would frequently visit because 4 small tacos cost you $12 something with tax. It will get expensive If you bring a lot of people or a family with you.

The food was amazing! Everything was very authentic and flavorful. I've been craving and searching for a resto that serves Mexican menudo in IE. So far this is on the top of the list. The place is clean and spacious. The servers are friendly and very efficient. Glad we came early as the line gets long. It was pretty packed when we left. I will definitely be back again. Thanks to my band moms for recommending this place. The whole fam was very happy and left very full. Although, I would like more flour tortillas with my menudo. 3 was not enough.

I absolutely love Taqueria 2 Portillos. Typically I'm a King Taco type of guy, but sometimes the lines are way too long. So I discovered T2P. First let me start by saying that the food is always fresh. I love that the tortillas for the tacos are made fresh in front of you and the meats are grilled to perfection. The aroma of grilled meat and fresh tortillas is absolutely intoxicating. Although I've never eaten inside the restaurant, it does look clean. It is a little loud at times, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. The food is super flavorful and don't sleep on their salsas either because they definitely slap. As far as portions are concerned, they absolutely do not skimp out on the meat. I feel like you get your money's worth here. Come check out T2P.
